The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Twenty-Two! (I'M PROUD OF YOU, SON)

Hey everyone!
Sorry that it's been a while, I've had a bit of a hectic schedule!
I found out that Swish's name is Johanna (nice). Yes, I've still been sending Tada out to socialise with girls he meets at school!

These are two of the girls we meet. Spoiler alert, beautiful girl with a bun was also evil, and Green Hair just....looks terrible. If I had to pick, I'd say that Green Hair is out of the running, and it's between Bun Bun and Johanna.
I'll post up a poll as to who Tada should try and romance after this episode!

In other news, this is our last picture of Algay, because it turns out that everybody was right. It was an awful idea to have a cowplant...
Much as I loved him, he had an unfortunate trait of trying to eat everyone. So, he's moved on to pastures new.
But on the other hand...

IT FINALLY HAPPENED!

 Rudolph aged up!
After getting over his initial look, I can now introduce you to Rudolph Waveborn, the middle son of the next generation!

He takes so much after his dad, it's unreal. I'm so happy that he does, because it's a really visible genetic link between them!
I wonder who Vino will take after?

Anyway, here's his everyday outfit...

Cute, right?
I also redecorated, as you can see in the background of his birthday pictures. I've turned Tada's old room into his room, and given Tada another room of his own! I even got a corridor between the two, which means I can properly start extending the house!

And yes, that is Hatsune Miku on the walls of Tada's room.

Rudolph's room is definitely a bit more plain, but it's also a place where he can go to get away from everyone, so points for that?

And a final look at the Vocaloid den!

See you next episode!

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Twenty-One! (E.V.O.L.)

How do you guarantee a successful legacy? By making sure that from teenagerdom, you know who is single in town!
Oh dear god. Yes, I couldn't get him to meet anyone at school, so I had to send Tada out as the eldest to find potential lady loves.

So this is....
I forget her name, actually, but this is pretty much the only other teenager that I could find. Let's call her Swish until I can actually remember her name.
She came stomping over, and she and Tada had a friendly chat.

And during that chat, we found out that Swish is Evil. Knowing pre-generated Sims, she probably Hates Children too (bummer!) but we'll have to wait and see.
I did send Tada to the gym as well, where he got hit on by a Young Adult and Eliza Pancakes suddenly appeared.

So, we vamoosed (avoiding Eliza Pancakes, the first rule of Sims Club).

In other news.....

Algay grew up! He's such a cute little thing!
He's already tried to eat Rudolph by luring him with cake, but luckily I noticed and fed him pretty quickly. He's really sweet when people play with him, too.

Vino and Rudolph, on the other hand, have been waking up EVERYBODY in the house whenever they see the Monster Under The Bed. Even when someone Sprays it for them, they go around waking everyone up! The day we get a separate bedroom for Issac and Mariana with a locking door will be a much happier day for everyone's energy level.

Also, it's not going to be long until Rudolph ages up.... So that will probably be the next episode!
I wonder who will be heir?
See you next episode!

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Twenty (The Awful No Good Bad Luck Day)

Look alive, sunshine!
So guess who has the slight flu (me). This is sadly a few days late as a result of my feeling ill...

So first off we have the brothers Waveborn chilling and getting homework done in Tada's bedroom. I mean, where else could they possibly go unless it was here, invading the teen brother's privacy?
(Illuminati moment - the quest to fight for the position of heir has begun, for them...)

A new friend of Vino's, Liam, came over to join the chilling out (hence why Rudolph has left the room, because Loner Sims aren't a big fan of over-socialisation.)

But Vino and his new buddy seem to get along pretty well, even though Vino is clearly in his pajamas! It was actually a while before Liam left. Good sign? Bad sign? Who knows, but it's nice to see our Social Butterfly starting to fulfil his Aspiration.

After Liam left, Mariana decided to test out her Cooking Skill again with some Grilled Cheese...

AND PROMPTLY SET THE COOKER AND HERSELF ON FIRE. TADA HAD TO EXTINGUISH HER.
JESUS.
WHAT THE HECK.
This! This is the second time that she's done this! How the HECK am I supposed to keep her alive if she keeps trying to set everything on fire?
I really hope this is not a genetic trait. It cost a big chunk of our funds to replace the oven, and everyone is now stressed because oh, yeah, MARIANA TRIED TO BURN US ALL TO THE GROUND.

In healthier news, Rudolph has progressed to Level 3 of the Creativity Skill, meaning he can draw people now at the Activity Table.

And...meet Algay the Cowplant! He's a baby at the moment, so not exactly responsive to anything, but once he grows big, we'll be able to kill Eliza Pan---
I mean, socialise with him! Yes!
Ahem.

Rudolph's artwork. Aww.

Watering time for Algay! Don't worry, little buddy. Muscleman Babydad, pro gardener, will take care of you for the rest of your happy Cowplant days.

More fantastic artwork from Rudolph. One person, alone, outside a house. Yeah, I'd dream of that too if my parent tried to set fire to the kitchen.

And then the sink broke again to finish the whole day off. Wow. I was never more upset and stressed, truly. Luckily, Tada could repair it, but it was still pretty annoying.

I really hope that this is the worst bit of bad luck I am ever going to have with this family. I really do.
See you next episode! Hopefully, I can start finding potential spouses for the heir?

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Nineteen! (BOOM, BABY!)

Hello again, and welcome back to the Waveborn Household!
Since I had to send everyone off to school/work, they all came back exhausted, so before anything could be done it was nap time for everyone.
We've got more money coming in from the garden, but Mariana and Issac still need to work towards promotions, so that's pretty tiring.

Meanwhile, Tada seems to have taken his dad's advice to heart - and has been tending to the garden! Well, just watering it, but it's definitely a start!

Plus, he cleaned out the fridge. I don't know anyone who would do that willingly.

But here is where it all very nearly went wrong. I found out from the sounds of cooking in my headphones that...
TEENS CAN COOK.
WHAT THE HECK.

Well, I said they can cook. I didn't say they can cook well.
The entire time Tada was cooking, I have to admit that I was worriedly waiting for the kitchen to burst into flames. While it didn't, the food made him uncomfortable. Maybe stick to yoghurt from now on...

Another rainbow from Rudolph! The Activity Table seems to be his favourite thing, aside from the bookshelf. I just found that rainbow picture sitting there.
I mean, I know it's by Rudolph.
I didn't see him draw it, though...

And of course, the shower then broke. WHY THIS.
Luckily, Tada can now repair things! So we have him repairing and cleaning the shower, rather than replacing it (because who wants to keep paying out for a costly shower, am I right?)
TEENAGERS ARE SO USEFUL, GUYS.

He's also got a job as a Barista after school. I'm hoping he'll enjoy it! I was going to have him be a babysitter, but the picture on the Careers page was not encouraging.

And what's this?
Is it a ....
COWBERRY?
YOU BET IT IS.

Currently we have two little horns sticking up in the ground. Want to name the Cowplant? Stick a suggestion in the comments below!
THIS RIGHT HERE IS AN ACHIEVEMENT.
MAN EATING PLANT. AW YIS.

And yes, another Activity Table Creation! I'm pretty much going to fill up the walls with these drawings. I might even do a thing where each generation makes drawings, and then their parents keep one and the rest stay in storage. I think it'll be cute.

OH, WHAT'S THIS? DID I ALSO SAVE UP ENOUGH FOR A COMPUTER TO DO THE DAILY TASKS?
YOU BET I DID!
It's not really a fancy computer, but it's what we can afford, and it's enough to get Mariana on track with her job!

Browsing S.I.M.S Intelligence! Yusssssssss.

What's that in the background? Tada, having inherited his mother's skill at cooking, scraping scrambled eggs off of the pan he burnt them to with the strength of concrete. Hopefully
this isn't a hereditary thing that will stick with us. YOU CAN LEARN, TADA. I BELIEVE IN YOU.

That's all, folks! Leave any Cowplant worthy names in the comments!
See you next episode!

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Eighteen! (LONG LIVE ISSANA)

Greetings! Welcome back to the Waveborn Legacy!
So, recently I've been trying to come up with a ship name for Mariana and Issac, because heck, they keep flirting like nobody's business and it's super cute. I'll be focusing on someone else and suddenly I'll hear these flirty giggles from the garden.
Awww.
So the name I've come up with is Issana! Fun fact, it might even be a future girl's name, because I cannot help but like it as a name. Yes, I'm a nerd. Fight me.

Tada still gets along with his mum, which is freaking adorable. I was trying to get a shot of him once more doing 3AM yoga, when Mariana suddenly came up and started talking to him, and then this happened! Surprise hugs!

Also, a better look at the modified Totoro room (as it shall henceforth be known.) I think it's pretty sweet, and I'm keeping my eye out for more custom content wallpaper for kids' rooms.

It's going to be pretty sad when they move out of there and I have to take all the drawings down, but I will be keeping it like that, which means that soon enough I'll need my first upstairs set of rooms or a corridor from the front room with rooms leading off it.

But for now, the Totoro room is uber sweet.

The scariest screenshot! MARIANA. PLEASE. DO NOT SPACE OUT WHILE COOKING.

(I may or may not still have some trauma from last episode's fiery event.)

And...voila! I did a little interior decorating using more of the custom content anchor paper. I think it really suits the living room/bedroom!

And while I was at it, I painted the kitchen blue. NAUTICAL THEME LIKE A BOSS!

Mariana enjoying the Grilled Cheese she was making! Hm. HMMM.
Okay, woman, you might have levelled up with the Cooking Skill, but I STILL don't trust you near an oven.

A proud father and his sons in the garden, chit-chatting. Aw yis.

'And this, my sons, is the garden, which you will learn to love.'
'Dad, neither of us like being outdoors--'
'WHICH YOU WILL LEARN TO LOVE.'

Selfie time! Vino and Tada, sharing a moment. Aw.

Seeing as I will be getting a computer at some point, I managed to find a nautical themed desk! Aw YIS. The computer will be in Tada's room (simply because it is the one place it can fit), but I have to save up for it first so it doesn't bankrupt my funds.
The desk is so cute, though!

That's all for now, but just so you know, once Vino becomes a teenager, I'll be running a poll to vote for the heir! To vote, you'll just have to comment the name of your preferred heir, and after a week, voting will be closed!
See you next episode!
