The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Fifteen (Boxing Day Special!)

I kind of wish that we had snow in the Sims. I mean, maybe just as a Christmas thing? Imagine, going outside and having a snowball fight! I think it would be fun.
But hey, who knows what could happen to the plants? And our plants are doing really well! The spliced plant keeps giving us Dragonfruit, and that is really cool, because they sell for quite a bit, and the actual Dragonfruit plant is growing splendidly.

The Christmas Wreath is still up, and will stay up until January the 6th (Twelfth Night, when us English folks take down our decorations). Hopefully, by the time I get to next year, we'll be able to afford a few more things. Maybe?
Hopefully. But hey, Christmas Wreath!

For some reason, Tada keeps taking naps on Rudolph's bed. Is this a territorial thing as the firstborn? Is this Tada's way of trying to pick a fight with his brother?
I have my suspicions.

Today was also a day where the sink broke. Maybe I need to invest in a better sink? Maybe with the money that the Dragonfruit brings in? Here we have Mariana desperately trying to keep washing up plates in the broken sink. Why. It's clearly broken, my child. Like, I had to replace that! It doesn't work.

Speaking of children, Vino was crying and I got this picture of Tada trying to calm down Vino, which was really cute! I mean, it didn't work (cuddles with Mummy Mariana were needed to soothe our youngest) but it was still adorable. He was shooshing him and everything!

Don't worry, Tada, Mariana's on her way!

Also, in case you were wondering what was behind the glass door, we now have two bathrooms. Sort of. See, everyone was needing the toilet at the same time, which was causing some issues, so some money had to be spent on resolving that. Voila! A new bathroom!

The first bathroom is constantly a mess at the moment. The sink keeps getting grubby (Issac is designated sink cleaner and repairer) which really does look awful.

Rudolph bought a couple of books (I mean, it is the day after Christmas, and they will benefit the whole house, seeing as they are skill books) and is happily reading away most of the time when left to his own devices. Maybe that is something to do with being a Loner?

I've also been trying my hardest to get Mariana practicing her Yoga to up her Wellness skill, but with Vino around, I often have to cancel it, because his father has developed special 'deaf to babies' ears. Sigh. One day, Mariana. Maybe one day we'll get you to a higher level via Yoga.

While she was rushing to Vino's aid, I  spotted a very familiar figure on our path. Zooming in, I find...
This.
What the heck, Eliza.
Does she just stalk new Sims? Why is she doing push-ups on our path?
What.
The.
Heck.

Tada and Rudolph also are getting along (bed stealing aside) which is kind of cute! Also, the expression on Tada's face here is pretty hilarious.

Unfortunately, the freshly cleaned sink then BROKE, denting the household funds.
AGAIN.
Issac was too busy, so I had to replace it. It also left a huge puddle on the floor which needed mopping.

The shower also desperately needed cleaning, but that had to wait for Issac to stop being busy. Somehow, showers look worse than sinks when they're dirty.

And to wrap things up, have a picture of baby Vino, smiling away! Relatively (in comparison to his brothers) Vino is a very happy baby, and doesn't tend to cry for no reason. It's almost his birthday, so who knows what next episode might bring?

See you next episode!

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Fourteen ('Twas the Eve Before Christmas...)

Hey everyone!
So, important announcement - Rudolph aged up! Here is a good close-up of our latest boy (with a custom content Christmas sweater)!
He's definitely got his dad's looks! Mariana's hair colour is still holding strong as a gene, and the Random Generator has rolled him a Rambunctious Scamp Aspiration and given him the Loner Trait!

I've purchased the dolphin bed for him, and expanded Tada's room. Until I get more money, they'll be sharing this room!

With the extra time you get before going to school, I did what I could to help Rudolph with his Aspiration. Luckily, there are Monkey Bars in the nearby park! He'll need some Jungle Gym equipment soon enough.

And he and Tada have been keeping on top of their homework, which is good. They've been also getting along pretty well!

The toilet broke again, but this time, Issac fixed it (so did the fridge, but I'm not having him mess about with it), so the Repair Skill is coming in very handy indeed!

Also, the spliced plant finally gave us a Dragonfruit! So, I've been able to plant it and it's started to grow! (Mariana did the honours!)

And pretty much as soon as it was planted, Eliza Pancakes jogged by. SERIOUSLY. I don't know why, but I always feel a little creeped out when I see her near our house.
STRANGER. DANGER.

I've also put up a Christmas Wreath for them, because why not? If you can't spend your plant money on Christmas things at Christmas, then what can you spend it on?

And....
Welcoming Vino Waveborn to our little family! Yes, the final baby is a boy, and that will be the 2nd Generation - Tada, Rudolph, and Vino! So, here we have Mariana, the new mother (again), holding her new born. He's actually a relatively quiet baby, to be honest! (Although that might change.)

See you next episode (and a festive goodnight!)

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Thirteen (Muscleman Babydad!)

So, today, we had a pretty small and easy day - despite it being Rudolph's birthday!

First, I took the Snapdragon cutting and grafted it to one of the Strawberry plants. Whether or not it will produce Dragonfruit, we'll have to see!
But hopefully, it will, and we'll get a cutting from that!

I'm pretty sure this must be our own personal meme, now, because the sink then broke.
Again.

Tada's still upping his reading (A Game of Groans, again)!

And Mariana is indeed pregnant! I've had baby names suggested - so far, we have Mina for a girl, and Vino for a boy! If you have any name suggestions, comment below!

In other (domestic) news, Issac is once more being a Great Dad! He and Rudolph have been getting along well, while Tada is definitely closer to Mariana at the moment. I wonder which they'll each end up taking after?
But anyway, have some Mr Muscleman Babydad spam!
Aw!

Sorry for the short episode!

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Twelve! (GOAL. ACHIEVED.)

Greetings!
So, as you know, my mission at this moment is to create a Cowplant (it's a good goal, okay), and I found out that Issac does indeed have the level of skill to....drumroll...take cuttings! We'll be grafting them in the next episode, which as I took the correct cuttings, should provide us with a Dragonfruit.
(AND WOE BETIDE ELIZA PANCAKES, SHOULD SHE STROLL BY OUR LOT.)

In other news, though you can't see it here, the shower broke again. We also had to pay our first amount of bills, taking the household funds down. Again. I really need to get a computer so that Mariana can get promoted! Luckily, the garden brings in...well, more money than either job does.

We had to weed out the plants, too, because they suddenly sprouted dandelions. (Didn't even know that was a thing). Also, spraying for bugs, because those are bad too!

Also Mariana whistles while pulling out weeds, and it's cute. So cute. I really hope that 2nd Gen Mum is as cute as Mariana is, and I definitely think that the first 3rd Gen girl will be named after her grandmother, because Mariana is cute as heck. Maybe even Marinette, seeing as it means 'little Mary', and Miraculous Ladybug reasons, obviously.
Not that I'm playing favourites or anything.
Oh, who am I kidding. Mariana is my favourite. So my favourite.

Here's Tada, doing his homework! He actually seems to be doing not so well in school, because he keeps coming home Tense and Embarrassed from events happening there. Aw, it's okay, buddy, these things happen! School is rough, everyone knows that.

And obligatory photo of Mariana and Rudolph! Rudolph's birthday is apparently coming up, so I need to start saving up to kit his room out. If only everything would stop breaking...

Also...
I did it! I got us a separate little kitchen! GOAL ACHIEVED. I'm really proud of myself, even though it's honestly such a small kitchen, and we don't have a dining table or even a sofa and coffee table. But look! KITCHEN.

I've also been able to find the time to evolve the mushrooms! Mariana's Gardening Skill isn't as high as Issac's, but she can still evolve plants, and I actually want to concentrate on upping her Wellness Skill (Yoga).
But evolved mushrooms mean more money, so...

Here's a good look at the whole house! It's a far cry from what we originally had (shown below for comparison), isn't it?

And once more, Issac is the one left to do the washing up. It's tough being the only one in the house with the Neat trait, buddy. I'm sorry.

Also, for those who were wondering, yes, there really is a monster. Tada wakes up about 1 AM and quickly rushes to wake up his poor parents - but with good reason!

LOOK. There is a monster under the bed! WITH TENTACLES. It's confirmed, guys. This is how you find Cthulhu. No wonder Tada freaks so much in the middle of the night! But the parents can't see it - you have to be controlling Tada to see it.

Thoughts? Want to leave potential baby names for the last 2nd Gen baby? Want to tell me about the Cthulhu mythos? Comment below!

See you next episode!

The Waveborn Legacy - Episode Eleven! (Oh Snap (dragon)!)

Good afternoon! Welcome back to the Waveborn Legacy!
So Issac found something very, very good...
A Snapdragon!
Like I said I would, I've moved the garden away from the house to give a bit more leeway in regards to expansion. Here we have Mariana planting the basil that Issac found as well!

Watering in!
In case you didn't know, if you get to Level 7 of the Gardening Skill, you can graft plants together. Grafting together Snapdragons and Strawberries gives you the Dragonfruit, which when grafted with Snapdragon produces the Cowplant berry (mwahahaha!) Hence why I'm so happy to get it!

Tada and Issac both taking a nice little nap! This was so cute, I couldn't resist.

After Tada woke up, he went out into the neighbourhood, and made a new friend - Gilberto Swain, who Mariana has previously made friends with. Tada is doing really well with the whole social side of things!
Er, aside from the fact that he still appears to be in his pajamas. No judgement, though. We all have days like that.

Here we see the new plants sprouting! Yay! And now Mariana can also 'Spray for Bugs', which is good for keeping our garden nice and healthy!

And in other news, Issac KEEPS STEALING THE YOGA MAT.

Buddy, if you reach enlightenment, I hope you realise that the yoga mat never belonged to you.

Also, we got a mirror! Yay us! Now Tada can be social in the mirror to level up his social skill.

He's been reading 'A Game of Groans' a lot recently. Is he preparing to fight his sibling? Who knows?

Recently, Mariana has gotten a lot of 'Chat to Someone' whims, so I've been building her friendship with Bella Goth, because frankly, I like Bella. Also, Mariana is still rockin' those bunny slippers and that cat nightdress.

And yes, the sink broke again. True to my threat, I made Issac repair it this time, because it was beginning to get way too expensive for our tiny household budget (though the plants are bringing in more and more money). He got to mop the floor afterwards. I think he was happy. I think.

Baby bump photo! I really love how cute and yet practical this outfit is compared to her last outfit (which was cute and sweet, but not really mum attire). The bow in her hair is staying there even when she eventually grows old, by the way.
Also, we probably need a new TV.

The garden again! The Basil and Snapdragon have taken off pretty quickly, which is really good, and I'm really happy with how it looks!
Also, it's now organised, which pleases me.

Bella Goth popping over for a late night chat. I really think she's a cute character! I mean, look at them! Mum-chattin' away like that. Aw!

And of course not five minutes after her buddy leaves, Mariana goes into labor. Tada and Issac I think were both asleep at this point, and Mariana looks SO UNCOMFORTABLE in this screenshot.
:( !

But...
Meet Rudolph Waveborn! In the end, I decided to go with a festive name - 'tis the season!

Awww, Mariana looks so happy now. A baby brother for Tada! I think I am actually going to have one more heir, and then that will be it for the next generation, and Mariana can concentrate on living a happy and full life!
I wonder what he'll look like as a kid?

Anyway, that's it for this episode! Any baby names for the final heir? Liked this episode? Or just want to describe the sweet taste of dark chocolate? Leave a comment below!

Until next time!
