The Waveborn Legacy - Series Two, Episode Ten (Careful What You Wish For)

So, pretty much as soon as I started playing again, Mackenzie went into labour.
Great, I thought. Next toddler, bring it on. Brilliant, another potential heir, I get to pick from the suggested names, yada yada.
And then.
And then the game got me. The game got me real good.

TWINS.

FREAKIN' TWINS.

For the names, I picked Eloise and Charlotte from the suggested names - both were names suggested by Ben! - as I like the old fashioned feel.

After they aged up and I sorted their hair and clothes, here are the twins!

Meet Eloise (Inquisitive, like her big sis)...

And Charlotte, who has the Clingy trait.

As Eloise will be having the nature themed room, I tried to base her wardrobe around it, including some absolutely lovely bear pajamas. They're so cute!

Charlotte, on the other hand, was more of a PINK EVERYWHERE kind of theme. Mostly because I wanted to use all the cute custom content stuff for her as well, although I did use the official bunny pyjamas for her sleepwear.

Also the official unicorn party outfit, because oh my gosh, it's adorable!

I had to give her a whole new room as well, and I kind of went a bit overboard.

IT'S SO PINK.

Oh, but the second I came out of Build Mode, did I ever know I was born. It's REALLY HARD to take care of three toddlers, and I have decided that they are going to be the only babies that Mackenzie and Rudolph have, because WOW, is it ever hard to keep track of them and keep their needs sorted even with a full house.

So first off, they were both hungry, so that had to be dealt with swiftly.

And then they were tired, and they needed all these different things, and everyone literally wore themselves out running after these two little tyrants. Not to mention Violet, who was grumpy because the twins were getting so much attention.

And then Mackenzie went ahead and made things WORSE because her Mean Trait kicked in and she destroyed the Dollshouse.

WHY.

She did Repair it, gaining the Handiness Skill, but still. Why. Luckily, Charlotte didn't seem to notice what had happened.

However, despite everything, the toddlers seem to get on okay, and I'm hoping they'll end up being friends when they get older!

The Waveborn Legacy - Series Two, Episode Nine! (Toddlers are HARD)

Ah, save me. Save me from the hellish predicament that is trying to get my Sims to realise how to take care of a toddler...

So, yup, I've been having some difficulty with that. Not to worry, though - this cute li'l muffin is always my priority!

She and her uncle Vino get along really well, so I decided that I'm not going to kick him out - instead, he's going to stay and help take care of the kids. In future, I'll have the non-heirs move out with friends except for the second highest voted, so that there's always someone to help take care of the kids. Vino, now a Young Adult, is a HUGE help in taking care of Violet.

Violet's taken to playing in the portrait room, which is pretty cute.

Her parents are pretty doting - there's so much care in what they do - and she seems to get on well with them, but she gets angry a lot! I guess that's a toddler thing...

And she gets on well with her granddad, which is both nice and sad, as he's (according to notifications) going to pop his clogs soon. However, he did get to meet his first grandchild, and may yet get to meet his second!

Not long after Vino's birthday, Mariana aged up as well! So here's some 'Nanna holding Violet' for the audience.

I had to change her hair so it would go grey as it should, and I think she really looks like an upper class grandmother now. I guess that she technically is! It's quite sad to see her this old, though - sadder than it is to see Issac that old - because of course she was the Founder I created and I'll definitely miss her when she dies. I'll be placing her and Issac together in the garden when they die.

Also, have a Tense Mackenzie - yup, another baby is on the way! She's not best pleased at being the only one in the house, as Violet requires a lot of attention and care, and Sims taking care of toddlers have hardly any time to themselves, which can be bad for their needs.

As Violet will be using the Totoro room first, I changed its lights to these adorable flower lights! They're so cute, and I really want to bring in more of a garden theme into the kids' stuff.

Sorry, Tada, but Vino is definitely the favourite uncle!
D'awwww.

Also, I finally had enough money to get a Wabbit Tablet! Plus, I got some Nesting Blocks and a cute little rabbit shelf.
It's adorable!

Violet definitely seems to like the Nesting Blocks, probably because she is an Inquisitive toddler.

And finally....
The other nursery, ready for the next child! (I really hope Issac gets to meet them!)

I just can't get enough of these adorable Bear Chairs. This nursery is more nature themed, and it's my favourite of the two.

If you have any name suggestions for the next baby, please leave them below!

The Waveborn Legacy - Series Two, Episode Eight! (V is for...)

Good morrow!
So, Mackenzie has been acting extremely happy, and I think it's because she is Family-Orientated. She really loves spending time with everyone, and pretty soon, after Vino's birthday, I'll see if I can plan us a gorgeous wedding!

I'm really pleased that Rudolph has Mackenzie. When I moved her in, per the Legacy Challenge rules, her Mean trait actually didn't work against her  - she just was too happy to be mean!

Also, I've found out that going in the garden makes people flirty, because the fence is from the Romantic Garden Stuff pack. Here we have eye-flirting from Rudy and Kenzie, and their official ship name, I have decided, is RuKenzie.

Mackenzie is also a good gardener, which I'm grateful for. Gardening is what gets the money!

She also has a really big bump, but then so did Mariana, so I gave up on the idea that it might be twins. Ah well - I can always hope for the future!

Here we have both generations of spouses and Heirs/Founders at the dining table. I actually should probably add another chair or a table so that Vino and the future children can all sit down with everyone else, should the occasion arise.

Also, super cute pyjama affection from RuKenzie. D'aww.

Rudolph feeling the baby kick!

I also found out you can have a gramophone, so I'm using it to help Issac's aspiration along, as he's completed the Practise Music part of the aspiration and can now play traditional songs on his violin, to the chagrin of everyone else. I really, really hope he will improve soon.

Mariana joining in on the baby bump party. These two actually seem to tentatively get along, which is good!

Also, wooden hearts on the wall of the Master Bedroom. I just absolutely love this - and it's from the Outdoor Retreat pack, so it's actually official stuff. I love it. I love it so much!

But that night...Mackenzie went into labour! I held my breath...

...And she gave birth to the first ever baby girl of this legacy!
Welcome to the world, Violet Waveborn!
The name Violet was suggested on another platform by Ruby, and out of the girl's names for this generation that have been suggested, I liked it best!

Here's toddler Violet! Oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh, I just can't! She is just so adorable that I just...
So she's clearly inherited her hair from her dad, but she's got the same beauty as her mother. Oh, my gosh.

She is just the cutest little bean!

I closed my eyes to pick her trait, and picked Inquisitive. I really wonder how that will work out - who knows, she might become a painter like her dad!

Here's her formal wear, sleep wear, and party wear. I have to say, I am a MAJOR fan of the bunny pjs, but her little Cinderella dress is too cute, and the purple formal dress is simply adorable!

Mackenzie, of course, adores her, so we have a lovely photo of her cuddling Violet. I might use it as the header for this blog, actually!

And finally, Nanna Mari reading to her little granddaughter. Precious!

That's all for now! Remember, there are going to be more babies for the third generation, so feel free to leave any name suggestions below!
