The Waveborn Legacy - Series Two, Episode Twenty-Four! (Glad Tidings!)

Welcome back, dear readers!

After I had placed Mariana and Issac's headstones together, Adam, Violet, and Charlotte went out to the garden to mourn Mariana.

After Charlotte left to sleep it off, Adam and Violet stayed in the garden for a while, crying over Mariana's grave.

In fact, I think I can safely say Violet's been the most affected by her grandmother's death. The others have been able to move past it somewhat, and although they're sad, they're not as distraught as she is. I suppose that of all three girls, she knew Mariana for the longest, and before I discovered that you could hire a nanny, Mariana took care of Violet while she was a toddler.

It probably didn't help that the Grim Reaper hung about for a bit following Mariana's reaping. Dude. Read the atmosphere.

Of course, Rudolph was upset, too, and went out that evening to mourn his parents. He's lost them both now, in a sense.

However, that's not strictly true, given that Issac is still coming back nearly every night to check on his family. Violet was even able to talk to him about her problems, which seemed to help somewhat.

And to be honest, I don't blame them for being upset over Mariana's death. She was a very loving woman, and they all loved her, even Mackenzie, who finds it hard to get on with people due to being Mean.

The next day was a bit of a stressful one. Mariana really has left a legacy - and not one I'd want! Violet's inherited her cooking skills, unfortunately...

And set the oven on fire.
At about 5 AM.

Luckily, her dad and Alysha were able to extinguish it, and no one was hurt, but I fear that setting things on fire may be a Waveborn trait. Thank God Eloise hasn't inherited that particular gene.

Charlotte's apple trees had grown, and should soon be bearing fruit. Unfortunately, during the week, she's too stressed with school to spend much time in the garden - but come the weekend, I'll have her working on her Gardening Skill.

Alysha has taken up painting, as we were low on funds, and she's actually proving to be quite good at it! Turns out she also works in the Painting Career, like Rudolph. Our household funds had gone down, thanks to the bills, but between her, Rudolph, and the garden, we were able to boost them back up.

Soon after, Tada took her back to the garden...

...and asked her to marry him, once again.

And this time, she accepted! I'm so happy for Tada - he's going to marry Alysha and live happily with her!

Back at the house, Violet was once more hanging out with her grandfather. Did you know ghosts can eat? I didn't!

I'm happy that Issac's helping her through this difficult time, though.

As the morning of the next day rolled around, everyone went off to school/work, leaving poor Mackenzie in the house on her own, which she absolutely hated. She's Family-Oriented, so she gets sad when her family aren't around! Unfortunately, her job means she works in the afternoon through to the evening, so she will be left alone in the house for a few hours, and she's off again as soon as the girls return from school.

In an attempt to cheer her up, I've bought another fish! His name is Humbug, and he's the stripy one near Juleka! Hopefully it cheered her up somewhat.

Mackenzie's actually quite good at cooking, by the by. She can cook Gourmet things, and I don't know whether this is one of them, but she made a Fruit and Yoghurt Parfait. I've never actually seen one in TS4 before!

Once she'd eaten that and changed out of her pyjamas, she went to tend to the garden. It had, once again, got bugs over everything, so she spent her day taking care of that. It's important to ensure the health of your plants, after all! Luckily for Mackenzie, Charlotte will be able to do this after she leaves school.

When the girls arrived home, Violet brought Caleb back with her - he's become a teen! I'm not sure what I think of the sunglasses, but I'm sure it's just a phase.

He and Violet were chatting away in the Yoga Room, and even flirting a bit when he threw a drink over her. Sigh. Mean Sims. What can you do?

Violet was certainly clear on what she thought of his behaviour...

But they soon went back to flirting. I think that this means Violet's picked a partner! Well, que sera, sera!

And young love wasn't the only love in the air - because soon after, I decided that it was time to get Tada hitched to Alysha!

Look at Alysha's wedding dress and how gorgeous she looks! And look at the loving look Tada is giving her! So cute.

The boy and the girl are Jacoby and Elsa Estrada - Alysha's children! It looks as though Alysha is either divorced, separated or a widow, but these two are her children, so I decided that it would probably be best to invite them along to the wedding.

The ceremony started at the same arch where Mackenzie and Rudolph had gotten married, with Tada and Alysha exchanging their vows.

Alysha's children watched while the ceremony took place, and while Jacoby seems thrilled for his mother, Elsa doesn't look happy at all. There may be a small fly in the ointment there...

But with the rings exchanged...

Tada and Alysha were married!
Congratulations, you two!

Seeing as they're now married, I've placed a small starter home on a lot in Newcrest and placed them there to start their life as newlyweds! This means they're now moved out of the main household, but I can rest easy, knowing that they're happy and living in an in-world household.

I've also come to a decision - when the triplets reach the Child stage, I'll be running an Heir Poll, which will be live for two days. After that, Season Three will kick off, and Rudolph will pass on the Legacy. If one of the triplets is picked, they will be moved into the main household, as the family have to remain on the same lot for the entire legacy. So get ready to vote soon!

Until next time!
